The polar night may not be as dark as you thought. It is colourful and bright, a mystical spectacle. The moon has replaced the sun that is only a feeble red reflection in the horizon. Snow glistens under the moonlight and stars. The aurora have painted the sky in rainbow colours. These are the most spectacular lights you’ll ever see.
