Rides in Lapland

Arctic Adventure

on Paws and Hooves

Welcome to Kamisak, where huskies, horses, nature and northern traditions come together. We offer authentic outdoor experiences for guests who want to enjoy unforgettable moments.

Whether you dream of gliding through snowy forests behind a husky team or riding a calm horse, we are here to make your Lapland experience warm, personal and real.

Everything we do is guided by respect – for the animals, the land and the people.

The Pack

Each dog has a name, a story and above all personality. They are not equipment – they are the heart of everything we do.

During your visit, you will get to know our dogs, learn how husky teams work and experience the excitement of a sled ride through the peaceful Lapland landscape. After the ride, there is time for photos, cuddles and stories about life with huskies.

Husky experiences include:

  • Husky sled rides
  • Kennel visits
  • Meet & greet with the dogs
  • Photos with huskies
  • Warm drinks after the activity

The Herd

Our horses are calm, friendly Finnhorses, a native Finnish breed well suited to the Arctic environment. Horse riding in Lapland is a peaceful way to enjoy forests, snow-covered trails and open landscapes.

We offer guided horse rides for beginners and experienced riders. Every ride starts with a short introduction, so you feel safe and comfortable before heading out.

Good to Know:

Please dress warmly for winter conditions. We recommend layered clothing, warm socks and winter shoes. Winter boots, gloves and thermal overalls are available free of charge and we strongly recommend using them for extra comfort.

Most activities are suitable for beginners and our guides will explain everything before the ride. Activities may be adjusted or rescheduled depending on weather conditions and animal wellbeing.

Please note that horseback riding is not suitable for children, pregnant women, or guests with limited mobility, while husky rides are not suitable for pregnant women or guests with limited mobility. These restrictions are in place for safety reasons.

Our huskies are friendly, socialised, and love being around people. Meeting and interacting with the dogs is an important part of the experience. For this reason, if you are afraid of dogs or uncomfortable being close to them, this activity may not be the right choice for you.
